Zvi Ish-Shalom is an associate professor of wisdom traditions at Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado, and is the originator and guiding teacher of Kedumah. His style of teaching and the techniques he employs empower students to embody deep experiences of presence and expanded states of consciousness in the midst of ordinary life.
Zvi was born in Israel and grew up in the Orthodox community in Brooklyn, New York. He attended traditional yeshivot and was ordained as a rabbi in a long lineage of hasidic scholars. He holds a BA in classics from McGill University and a Ph.D. in Jewish mysticism from Brandeis University.
Zvi lives in Boulder, Colorado with his 16-year old son.
